Like many of the early 1900's mansions in the Sharon area, Rachelle House was built with luxury in mind. The mansion was built in 1912 and was the home of M.V. Deforest, the owner of the first Cadillac dealership in the city. Renovations began in 2000 and were completed by The Nugent Group in 2001.

The first floor of the 5,000 square-foot home features a grand foyer and staircase leading to a lovely stained-glass window. The house features an oversized living room with the original fireplace and also features a formal dining room, den and patio. The second floor boasts two luxurious bedrooms, each with a study and private bath.

DeForest Suite

Travel back in time … Relax in an elegant, spacious guest suite with a queen bed, private bath, separate dressing room, and a private study or sitting area. Soak with bubbles in an antique, ceramic bath.

Bachman Suite

Experience Old World charm … Delight in this guest suite with a queen bed, private shower and quiet study or sitting area.
